Project -Katran
This Project will be undertaken in Faridabad District of Haryana and the Vision Of the Project is to reduce and reuse the Fabric Scraps Generated at Boutiques, tailoring Shops
Most of such Fabric Scraps usually lands up in waste and hence contribute to the Landfills –
Project Katran will Collect, Sort, Reuse the waste fabric scraps generated at various un-organised tailoring shops and boutiques.
Our NGO mainly Concentrates on taking up the project which will:
- Provide Employment
- Reduce and Reuse the fabric scrap
- Environment Conservation.
In the Project - following activities will be undertaken :-
1) Various Boutiques are being contacted – and a Bag is handed over to them for collecting all the katrans generated an awareness and education is being done by organising one to one meet and telephonic interactions and Social Media.
2) A Small Van and Driver is being Hired for the Collection on weekly basis from these boutiques.
3) Few women laborers will be hired to Sort and grade the Fabric Collected
4) Few Women Labourers is being hired who will make Small Quilts , Patchworks etc
The objective and goal of it enriching Environment and Zero Fabric waste.
Water - Saviour Project.
This Project will be undertaken in Faridabad District of Haryana and the Vision Of the Project is to build a Community of Individuals who become the
Change Agents of the Society for Water Conservation at Household Level.
The Foundation in its mission to create an Impact and Bring a Transformation – are trying to take up the Water- Saviour Project .
Water Saviour Project is a Project to Spread Awareness about the Roof Top Water Harvesting , Guide them about the Best Cost Effective Resource and
make them the Brand Ambassadors of Change Agent in the Society
“Be a Water- Saviour”
In the Project - following activities will be undertaken :-
1) An Online Survey will Be conducted – It is through this we are going to reach as many people – which will not only create an Awareness , But will also bring together the Likeminded Willing People who wants to have a Roof Top Water harvesting – but because of Limitations to the Resource are unable to install it.
2) Regular Follow up and interaction through Social Media to motivate them to take up water conservation at household level
3) Free Technical and Cost Survey of Installation of House-Hold Rai Water Harvesting and connecting them to Cost Effective Roof Top water Harvesting Solutions.
4) Acts as a Facilitator among the End user and Service provider
The objective and goal of it will be to Save Every Drop of Pure water for Human Consumption.
Here are a few important facts about water on this:
- Ninety-seven percent of all water on the earth is salt water, which is not suitable for drinking.
- Only 3% of water on Earth is fresh water, and only 0.5% is available for drinking.
- The other 2.5% of fresh water is locked in ice caps, glaciers, the atmosphere, soil, or under the earth's surface, or is too polluted for consumption.
With growing population rates and such a small percentage of all the water on Earth fit for consumption, it only makes sense that we must preserve and conserve this precious resource.
